Jennifer and Donny

We had SOOOOO much fun photographing Jenn and Donny's wedding!  Their wedding party was such a blast!!  Everyone was so relaxed and just rolled with the punches ... we showed up to take the family photos at a local park and there was already a wedding going on ... now that could have caused a lot of stress and aggravation, but not with this group.  They just enjoyed each others company and had a great time being with each other laughing and clowning around. Even climbing trees at one point :)
Make sure to check out Jenn's beautiful flowers!  In trying to save a little money, she got them at Stop and Shop, and they were GORGEOUS!  I was super impressed.

Liz and Mike

All I can say is that we have been incredibly blessed this wedding season with blue skies and FABULOUS couples! Liz and Mike just added to our great 2009. They had a small ceremony at the Colby Hill Inn in Henniker NH. One of my favorite parts of the inn was this beautiful barn with rich heavily textured wood. I couldn't wait to take their pictures with that barn as the backdrop! After the ceremony we took a short drive to a nearby wooded trail which led us to a covered bridge in town. Along the walk, there was great access to the water as well as some great old wood fences. Mike and Liz were just our kind of couple, they were great and relaxed and willing to try just about anything ... except jump on the rope swing ... but we don't fault them for that, the swing did go right out over the water :) Check out their video and pay close attention to the flowers, Liz did all the bouquets and center pieces herself. I was quite impressed!

Nena and Adam and the "secret garden"

We just love Nena and Adam!  Nena and Adam broke tradition and did all of their formal photos before the ceremony, something that is becoming more and more common now and allows us so much extra time to have fun and take AMAZING pictures.  Once the family photos were finished we went over to this little pocket park that was chocker block full of daisies and lupins (well, I think they were lupins, but I'm not 100% sure about that ... what ever they were, they were beautiful!)  N & A  were troopers and went right smack dap in the middle of the garden and from the pictures you'd think they were in the English Country side, not down town Manchester.  So much fun!  From the photos we all headed over to Fratello's for their ceremony.  We are always so thrilled when we get to work at Fratello's, the wedding coordinator there, Loretta, is an absolute doll and we just love her to pieces.  And Divine Linens and PJ's flowers did an amazing job decorating the room.  Nena and Adam had a Black and White theme and Divine Linens came through with gorgeous linens and table runners, and PJ filled the room with lights everywhere.  It looked truly amazing!!!!  With the ceremony over and Adam and Nena man and wife we decided to take a quick ride over to the river walk in Manchester and after Nena kicked off her amazing black heels in exchange for a more comfy shoe we went on a little trail walk and were able to get some fabulous photos as the sky changed colors and turned to night.  Now we know that it is not tradition to see each other before the ceremony, but Nena and Adam's wedding is the perfect example of why it can be a good idea.  We got an entire hour to take pictures of them alone and had time to do things we don't always get to do.  Check out the photos in their slideshow, you'll see what we mean.

AHHHH, Kristen and Jacob!

Kristen and Jacob got married in a beautiful Catholic ceremony in Manchester and had their reception at Granite Rose in Hampstead, and oh my did everyone have a GREAT time.  Even the grandmothers were cutting a rug with everyone until the wee hours of the morning.  Nights like that make our job easy, there was definitely no shortage of things to take pictures of ... and Kristen and Jacob's wedding was not any ordinary wedding for us.  It's always nice when there is a connection, no matter how small.  You see, Kristen and Jacob grew up in the same town and so did may of their guests.  In fact I believe someone commented in one of the toasts that many of the friendships in the room began back in the day at AVS .... well .... I myself am an AVS alum and although Kristen and Jacob are quite a bit younger than I (it actually turns out that my "baby" sister used to babysit one of the bridesmaids and I can remember filling in for her on an occasion or two ... boy did that make me feel up there :) ), there were still a few familiar faces among their guests that I used to ride my bike with way back when.  Check out their slideshow for a few highlights!
