Cortney and Danny

Cortney and Danny had a picture perfect day for their July 19th wedding at Atkinson Country Club. Blue skies, puffy white clouds, not too hot ... it couldn't have gotten any better. And lucky us, we got to work with some of our favorite vendors again ... The amazing Shara from Chickadee Hill Cakes once again came through with a fabulous cake and Wisteria Flowers (a big thank you to them by the way for sending Cortney and Danny to us) created some beautiful bouquets and centerpieces.
Thank you Danny and Cortney for inviting us to be part of your special day!

Cynthia and Matt - FUN with a capital F!!!

I L.O.V.E this car!

Our attempt at Bonnie and Clyde ... google them you'll see what we were going for ... Cynthia and Matt are too nice to be serial killers though :)

I want to start by saying that we really do have fun at all of the weddings we go to, but Cynthia and Matt just made our day!  From the 1930's car ... refinished by Matt's dad ... to the pinstripe suits, to the top hats and even the cigar cutters, no detail was overlooked.  We even had some fun recreating a Bonnie and Clyde photo.  They had their wedding at Topsfield Commons, and the atmosphere fit perfectly with the old school theme of the day.  Check out their video ... I just couldn't resist the music :)

Julie & Colin

Julie and Colin had a great wedding at Spring Hill Lodge in South Berwick, Maine.  This was a a first for us working there and we can't wait to go back!  Julie and Colin had some super cute details from  adirondack chair place card holders to the great adirondack chair centerpieces.  Everything just worked so well together.  We want to send a big thank you to Bevin ... who we can't wait to photograph in October ... for sending Julie and Colin to us.  We had an amazing day!

Robyn and Seth and the ring of fire :)

We love weddings where we get to try new things and Robyn and Seth were more than happy to be our guinea pigs for a photo I've been wanting to try for a while now. After recruiting some bystanders we created the image where the happy couple look like they are standing in a ring of fire. Everyone was patient enough to give it a couple of tries, but I think we all agree that the end result is worth it! I was so impressed at the planning that went into this wedding .. Robyn planned the entire thing from Texas! It was a great 4th of July wedding in Seth's parent's beautiful Alton Bay backyard. You really couldn't beat the view or the number of fabulous places to take photos.

Erin and Wesley's Engagement session

We are so excited to photograph Erin and Wesley's wedding in October. We just recently had the pleasure of doing their engagement session ... I think they got the one sunny day this month. After spending an hour or so taking pictures of them, I can not wait until their wedding!!! They have the most natural smiles. When they look at each other, their faces just light up.

Here are a few of my favorites!

Nancy and Bill

Nancy and Bill's wedding provided a first for us ... they arranged for us to be chauffeured around Squam Lake in a boat on a gorgeous Saturday to take pictures ... and I get paid for this .. really????? Have I mentioned that I love what I do :) I do feel a little bad for Mike who had to play the role of Gumby and contort himself in all different directions to stay hidden from view in the back seat of the boat while still getting photos himself. Luckily nancy had an amazing cathedral length veil (which looked UNBELIEVABLE blowing in the wind!!!) that he so conveniently hid under at times.

Of course mother nature kept us on our toes again not knowing if we were going to be able to go out to Church Island until almost the very last minute, but the thunder and lightning kept it's distance and only threatened us a few times. If you look closely there is actually a faint rainbow stretching across the sky behind them in one of the pictures ... I honestly didn't even notice it until it was up on my computer screen. It was a very WOW moment :)

After a great boat ride where Nancy and Bill led us to the location of their first kiss and the spot where Bill popped the question ... both of which happened on Squam Lake we all head over to the Rivers Edge Marina ... which Bill's brother owns and hosted a great reception. This is one wedding we're sure not to forget any time soon.
